Anthony Abbot goes to Medical School in Uganda

We are delighted to report that Anthony Abbot, our SWIFTSS lead in Sierra Leone, has begun medical school in Uganda. He is already a highly capable surgeon, having been trained as a SCHO (Surgical Clinical Health Officer) through the CapaCare Surgical Training Programme and Lesley’s subsequent mentorship. However, with the slowly improving healthcare infrastructure in Sierra Leone, this step will not only add to his training and skills, but future-proof his position as a leading figure in Surgical Care in Sierra Leone. It is such a privilege for us to work with such capable local partners. Well done Anthony Abbot!
