We are absolutely delighted to report that Lesley has written a brand new book! Global Surgery and Anaesthesia: A Short Guide to Meaningful Involvement is perhaps the first of its kind – a very informative read that focuses on providing some fundamental information about the realities of the Global Health landscape as well as offering invaluable insights and encouragement for getting involved. Beyond her own extensive experience (which pre-dates SWIFTSS), she has drawn upon that of many others (including that of SWIFTSS and our wider faculty). It has been published in collaboration with GASOC. And is available from many retailers (best to websearch and pick your preferred choice).
