THET Conference 2020 – TNMHP showcased in the Power Dynamics stream

With the COVID pandemic raging, it was a new virtual format for this conference. It was run as four half days, split by a weekend, to try and compensate for the ‘screen brain drain effect’. This format worked surprisingly well and the conference was a huge success with the highest ever number of attendees from overseas / LMICs. Perhaps this ‘forced’ innovation to run such an event in the current climate might be one of the positives to come out from this pandemic. Hopefully, it will benefit future conferences and enable wider access to those who work on the Global Health frontline. It was a real privilege to be asked to present and the project attracted a lot of positive interest and questions.
