In a massive blow to our efforts, the UK government has withdrawn a substantial portion of its overseas aid funding commitment. This has resulted in a number of grants being closed abruptly; including the SCCF (Small Charities Challenge Fund) and two THET (Tropical Education Healthcare Trust) grants, all of which have been closed midway through the application process. I am sure there are many organisations feeling as shocked and disappointed as we are.
