Holy Family Hospital, Techiman (Gh)

The Holy Family Hospital, Techiman is a busy 350 bed hospital in central Ghana. Following the successes in Tanzania and Sierra Leone, news of the AMHSI has begun to spread. Pleased to be able to provide a solution to this very common ‘hernia mesh’ issue, we were delighted to be invited here by Dr Acquah and his team; to begin the start of another new workstream in Ghana. We are very grateful to Jen, of Operation International-UK, who brokered our initial relationship.

The first AMHSI mesh went in on the 4th December 2023.
