We are absolutely delighted to announce that after a lot of hard work surrounding the simulation model, a paper has been published in the eminent Journal Hernia: ‘The SWIFTSS hernia model: putting ultra-low-cost hernia simulation in everybody’s hands’. Our hope is that this will help enable access to better training opportunities for all, neither expensive nor difficult to make and not hidden behind paywalls.
Well done to all involved, particularly Lesley and Abbot for the concept and refinements and Mohammad for all the hard work in making the video, writing the paper and getting it over the publication line. More important validation for what we are doing.
